2. What makes Avenor templates different from generic downloadable spreadsheets?

3. Are your templates suitable for small businesses and startups?

Absolutely. Our tools are intentionally designed for SMEs, sole traders, early-stage startups, and growing businesses that need clarity, structure, and professional reporting.

TECHNICAL & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

4. What software do I need to open the PDF version?

PDFs can be opened on virtually any device using:
Adobe Reader DC (free), Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Preview (macOS), Foxit Reader, Nitro PDF, or PDF-XChange.

5. Do you offer Excel or Google Sheets versions too?

No. Our templates are designed for Excel and Excel for Mac. Google Sheets is not compatible with the embedded macros, which are created to improve ease of use for you.

6. Will this product work on both Windows and Mac?

Yes. PDF, and Excel formats all work seamlessly across Windows, macOS, tablets, and cloud-based platforms.

7. Can I edit the spreadsheets in Google Sheets?

No. Unfortunately, Google Sheets does not support the embedded macros.

CUSTOMISATION & USAGE

8. Can I customise the template for my own business?

PDF versions are instructional and not editable.
Spreadsheet versions, however, can be customised to fit your business model, products, pricing, or workflows.

9. Can I use this template for multiple businesses?

Yes. Our templates come in two versions:

Standard version - for personal use.
Pro version - if you serve clients and want to use our templates commercially, we offer a Commercial License Upgrade.

10. Can accountants, bookkeepers, and consultants use these with clients?

Yes, with a commercial licence. It allows compliant professionals, agencies, and advisors to use our tools as part of client services.

SUPPORT & TROUBLESHOOTING

11. What if I get stuck or something doesn’t work?

You’ll receive a step-by-step user guide, and support is available through email or Etsy messages. We’re happy to help you get set up smoothly.

12. Do you offer technical support for Excel formulas?

Yes. We can help with installation, settings, enabling macros (if required), and basic troubleshooting.

13. Are video tutorials included?

Select templates include video walkthroughs. We are expanding this library throughout 2025 and 2026.

UPDATES & MAINTENANCE

14. Will I receive updates?

Yes. If we upgrade or update a template (design, formulas, features), you’ll receive the updated file at no extra cost.

15. How often do you update your templates?

We regularly review and update templates based on user feedback, accounting best practices, and regulatory changes.

DOWNLOADS & ACCESS

16. How do I download my files after purchase?

Your files will be available immediately, either directly from our website or from your online shop Purchases page.

17. Can I re-download my template if I lose it?

Yes. You can access your purchases anytime or contact us for re-delivery.

REFUNDS & LICENSES

18. Do you offer refunds on digital downloads?

No. Due to the nature of digital files, refunds aren’t possible once downloaded.
However, if you experience any issues, we are committed to resolving them.

19. Can I share this template with my team or partners?

Yes — as long as it is for your own business’s internal use and you have purchased the Pro version.
Sharing with other companies, clients, or friends violates the licence.

20. Are the formulas locked or protected?

Key formulas are protected to ensure reliability, but entry fields and customisable areas remain editable.

21. Are your templates beginner-friendly?

22. Is this compatible with cloud storage like OneDrive, Dropbox, iCloud, or Google Drive?

Yes. You can store, share, and collaborate using any cloud storage system.

23. Do your templates include automated charts and dashboards?

28. Do the templates include any macros or external scripts?

Yes. Certain Excel workbooks contain macros. You will be asked to enable content when you the workbook. All macros in this workbook are purpose-built, digitally signed, and limited to Excel functionality only. They do not access the internet, transmit data, or interact with your system outside Excel.
